Ripple Swell by DesigngraphikI knew I wanted to work deconstructively, so that led me to consider a vortex within a volumetric medium, as would be created by a propeller in water, or a turbine within air. I wanted to envision a moment in a ‘space’ in which a huge structure that was created by the vortex is beginning to crumble, as fragments begin to slowly fall out into the disrupted medium, until eventually there is nothing left.

Obedient SpectrumThey said we’d evolve...faster, cleaner, smarter. They gave us synthetic limbs and pixel diets. Our bones, reprogrammed in sleep cycles. Our dreams, filtered through government-issued prisms. The light bends not because it must, but because it was told. And still we smile.
