The Syntax of Controlled BloomThey grew gardens from the remnants of failed transmissions. Rooted in static, watered by memory leaks. The soil? Compressed lifetimes and sponsored genetics. From the surface it looked like flora, but beneath—wires coiled like serpents, hungry for signal.
The overlords call it “restoration.” A lush reprogramming of decay. Citizens are encouraged to touch the leaves. Feel the pulse. The network is alive. This is the new Eden, they say—frictionless and biodegradable.
It’s easier this way. Less screaming. More color.

The Geometry of ObedienceThe Geometry of Obedience - The machines hum lullabies now. What once cut through steel now softens time. The Overstructure feeds, but never loudly. Silence is policy. They told us this was art—spirals of efficiency, chrome hymns in a vacuum chamber. A synthetic anatomy you can live inside. Motion is worship. The color grid is not decoration—it’s signal. Everything marked. Everything scanned. Everything divine.

The Fiberglass CommunionNerves rethreaded through copper lattice—unlicensed biology, filed smooth for consumer safety. They say the new batch doesnt dream, just runs hot and perfect. Flesh pulled like static from a plug socket. You feel it too, don’t you? The hum beneath the floor, the wet click of digital veins rehearsing birth. They told us we would be healthier in this form—no infection, no hunger, no rebellion. Just perfect, polished loops.
Welcome to the improvement cycle. Your old thoughts have been deprecated.

Ripple Swell by DesigngraphikI knew I wanted to work deconstructively, so that led me to consider a vortex within a volumetric medium, as would be created by a propeller in water, or a turbine within air. I wanted to envision a moment in a ‘space’ in which a huge structure that was created by the vortex is beginning to crumble, as fragments begin to slowly fall out into the disrupted medium, until eventually there is nothing left.
